Straightpoint Clamp On Line Tensionmeter

Manufactured from aerospace grade aluminium, Straightpoint’s Clamp On Line Tensionmeter (COLT) is a lightweight wire rope tension meter, or shunt tension meter, that delivers accurate measurement of tensions up to 11,000lbs or 5000kg, up to 1” or 25mm diameters.

 

Easy to handle, it’s made using an integral, high-accuracy, Bluetooth module allowing the COLT to transmit wireless to any smart device running the Android or iOS app.

 

A built-in magnetic smart device holder allows the COLT to be used as a traditional tension meter with on-board display r the smartphone can also be handheld or mounted in a suitable place. Once in place, it allows the operator to effortlessly tension on cables and wire ropes at any angle.

 

Strenuously drop tested from 3m/10ft, its purpose-made carry case means the COLT is portable, while the use of standard alkaline batteries mean you can keep your tension meter charged and ready to go at all times.
